Happy March!!!
A few things to keep you up to date on what's going on at the Boys & Girls Club:
Learn To Run
We are excited to announce that our Learn to Run Program will be back this coming April! The program will run for 8 weeks and will be open to all children ages 6-12. The program will take place on Mondays and Thursdays and all participants will have the chance to take part in the 5km Butter Tart Trot on June 9th. Keep an eye out for more information as program start dates and registration will open mid-month.
Learn To Run Coach
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who loves running to be our coach this year for our Learn to Run Program. The coach will take on the Learn to Run program (help to create the curriculum each week). The coach must be available Mondays and Thursdays from 4:15-5:00pm and be able to participate in the Butter Tart Trot on June 9th. World Down Syndrome Day (Rock Your Socks!)
Join us in celebrating World Down Syndrome day on Wednesday, March 21st by wearing your funkiest socks!!! Come ready to dance the afternoon away!!!
Torch Club Presents: Movie Night (Ages 6 - 10)
Our Torch Club has been working hard on developing and growing their leadership skills each week since September creating an evening program for ages 6-10! On March 23rd, 2018 the youth will get the opportunity to show off their hard work by hosting a Movie night! Register at the sign in table to take part in this exciting evening!
Lost & Found
We are drowning in Lost & Found Items. Please take a look to see if any of your child(ren)’s belongings are there. We will hold onto to everything until Friday, March 9th. Anything left after this date will be donated.
