Happy New Year!!
Belongings
Just a reminder that all belongings should be labelled. We see a lot of black snowpants and similar boots and want to make sure everything goes home with the right owner. *Please also check our Lost & Found table as we have a lot of belongings left from before Christmas break.
Indoor Shoes
Please remember that all children MUST be in footwear at all times. Indoor shoes are highly recommended for all members. Please ensure your child's footwear is labelled. Indoor shoes can be left at the Club throught the week in our cubbies.
Peer Review
During the last week of January (Jan. 29-31st) we will be having 3 guests from other Boys & Girls Clubs across Canada to conduct a Peer Review of our Club. The Peer Review is time for us to ensure our Boys & Girls Club is meeting the operating standards set out by Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada. There will be no disruption to programs (they are here to observe programs and interact with members to see how they enjoy it here).
Please Note:
- For the month of January there will be no evening programs. Please stay tuned for information regarding our new program structure come February.
- Over the next few weeks we will be updating our parent/guardian email list as we are hoping to communicate more via email. Please check the list at the sign-out table to verify that we have the right one.
Reminders
- Please call the Club at 705-526-6159 if your child will not be attending the After-School Program.
- With winter in full swing, we also wanted to take this time to remind you that on Snow Days/Bus Cancellation Days we are CLOSED. Reminder: we are in the NORTH Zone
