Happy December!!
A few things to keep you up to date on what's going on at the Boys & Girls Clubs:
Personal Belongings
Please note that we are not responsible for personal belongings. We do our very best at the Club to ensure belongings are put away properly, but we have a lot of similar items and do ask for everyone's help...
Ways you can help us here at the Club:
- Remind children that all items (hat, mitts, permission slips etc.) must be in school bags
- Remind children that coats/snow pants are hung up together (on the same hook)
- Label all belongings
Snow Days/ Bus Cancellations
On Snow Days/ Bus Cancellation Days we are CLOSED. Reminder: we are in the NORTH Zone
Kid Food Nation
We will be running a second session of Kid Food Nation (for those who might have missed out on our fall sessions), on Wednesdays from 3:45-6pm beginning Wednesday, January 29th. This is a free cooking program for children ages 7-12 years old. If your child is interested in participating please email ashleigh@bgcnorthsimcoe.com to register. Please register early as spaces are limited to 12 spots.
*As this is a funded program through Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada with a set curriculum and evaluations, all participants are required to attend all 8 weekly sessions.
This year we will not be offering Winter Break Camp. We will be closed from December 23rd – January 3rd.
We will return to regular hours and After School Program on Monday, January 6th
Reminders
• Please call the Club at 705-526-6159 if your child will not be attending the After-School Program.
