Happy December!
A few things to keep you up to date on what’s going on at the Boys & Girls Club:
Winter Break Camp
Registration is now open for our Winter Break Camp!! We will be offering Winter Break Camp from January 2nd, 2018 until January 5th, 2018. Camp is open for children ages 6-11 and will be $25 per day or $100 for the week. Our camp days will be filled with skating, outdoor play, crafts and lots of fun activities! Please pick up a registration form at the Sign-Out table for more information. Registration forms and payment are due by December 20th, 2017.
Indoor Shoes/Fire Drill
New this year, we are asking that all children have indoor shoes for the Club. We will begin to regularly practice our emergency evacuation drills, so all children must be in footwear. We ask that all shoes are labelled. Shoes can be left here as we do have a large shoe rack that will hold them throughout the year. Our next Fire Drill will be held on Monday, December 12th. We ask for your cooperation and patience should you show up during the practice run.
Saturday Kids Clubs
We are excited to announce that Kids Club is back for the month of December!! Kids Club runs from 1-4pm and will be open to all children of the community ages 6-11. Our Saturday Kids Club is $4 for the afternoon and will include a snack, crafts, games and group activities. Please register in advance as space is limited.
Reminders:
• Please call the Club at 705-526-6159 if your child will not be attending the After-School Program.
• Now that the weather is starting to change we would like to encourage our members to be wearing indoor shoes here at the Club. Shoes should be labelled and can be left here throughout the week. We would also like to remind everyone to label their winter belongings (we see a lot of black snow pants and mitts).
• With Winter fast approaching, we also wanted to take this time to remind you that on Snow Days/Bus Cancellations Days we are CLOSED. Reminder: we are in the NORTH Zone.
